Why do you need mindfulness?

“You are not a billiard ball.

You can choose when to absorb an impact from your environment or when to completely repel it.

You are a sentient being.

You can respond to your environment intelligently. But true intelligence requires a quiet and still mind. Not a confused and agitated one. In whatever you do, what executes it effectively or ineffectively is your mind. To address the issues of your life you must also address the issues of your mind.

Your mind is the instrument behind your body.

Enabling your mind enables your body.
Empowering your mind empowers your body.
Healing your mind heals your body.

Success in everything you value – be that health, relationships, career, community, climate, or country – first requires success in your mind. Your hand is an instrument of work, and your tongue is an instrument of communication. But the instrument behind all instruments is your mind and it needs training.

Mindfulness trains, fine-tunes, and transforms the workings of your mind and thus the execution of your vision and goals.” ~ Sanjay
