Leading scientific writer for the highly acclaimed CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY Monograph Series and the fine journal The Scientific American.
Expertise: general relativity, cosmology, stellar evolution, naked singularities, black holes.
The new connections between Science and Spirituality are genuine.
Below are reviews from two INTERNATIONALLY REPUTED ASTROPHYSICISTS of an earlier manuscript by Patel, before the writing of GOD IS REAL – The Stunning New Convergence of Science and Spirituality, describing these connections that were part of his thesis in 2007. Both scientists have read his research fully and approved its accuracy and authenticity.
Moreover, Patel’s research on Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vents has been published in three peer-reviewed and professional international science journals [1-3]. This is the gold standard of scientific research.
The facts are undeniable. Spirituality and science correspond. The repercussions are VAST.

Dear [Sanjay C. Patel],
I have now looked at your Ph.D. synopsis in some detail and have really liked it.
Your style is authentic, as opposed to rather vague descriptions that I have seen on such subjects many times.
The precise references you have given are most useful and I have no doubt, one who refers to these will find them to be very thought provoking, and will be compelled to look into more details of the connections between science and ancient wisdom that you indicate and refer to.
Modern science keeps discovering various secrets and basic laws of the Universe all the time. This ranges from the tiniest atoms and human cells to the vastness of the cosmos.
There is no reason, however, to believe that these findings must necessarily be contradictory to age old wisdom and laws that ancients also thought about and discovered.
In fact, there is good reason to discover and look for the parallels, because after all the Truth should be one, by definition, and that an inquiring pure mind must reach similar conclusions.
Trying to establish this unity all in all can only help mankind’s cause of a search for happiness and peaceful coexistence, and the overall search for knowledge, I would believe.
I am happy indeed that you have been making attempts in that direction, and I wish you all the success.

Dear [Sanjay C. Patel],
Re: About Ph.D. Thesis of Sanjay C. Patel on “Yoga – A Connection with Parapsychology, Theology, and the New Physics.”
I have gone through his Ph.D. thesis. I have been impressed by his marvelous work on the subject.
Here in his thesis he establishes that the writings of ancient sages and seers about various branches of science, technology including modern day advanced sciences in those days in their work was not mere imagination but was based on real realization, experiments, and facts.
In his thesis he puts across not one two or three such facts but seventy of them and up to one hundred and fifty nine.
He argues that this situation cannot be just imagination but based on real fact and knowledge. Going through his thesis I entirely agree with him.
I strongly recommend that his scholarly thesis may be accepted for Ph.D. Degree. … The thesis has strong substances for the Ph.D. Degree.
